The idea of producing sprouts on the island of Kos started in an afternoon service at the restaurant where I worked, they were sprouts grown on cotton that had come from Athens. The question was one, why couldn’t I make them here on Kos and have them be better? That’s how be.leaf started in April 2022. We produce fresh non GMO* enriched peat grown hydroponically, deliciously beautiful local and with a small carbon footprint in the atmosphere. We now also produce edible flowers for cocktails and food…our goal is to keep growing with new flavors, always based on quality.
